Week 25 - Lots and lots of hair

25 weeks Feb. 2, 2010 • Size: Length 8.5-9in, weight 1.5-2lbs, Size 5lb bag of flour

" A month or so ago I could barely feel the baby moving -- and now it's poking and rolling around pretty regularly. I am getting used to it -- these amazing kicks will only get more intense in the coming weeks. Baby may be making it's presence known in a big way these days, but it's actually still a skinny little thing -- fat has yet to settle in under the skin and fill out the frame. This week, the little hands are fully grown, complete with fingerprints and fingernails!" - Ages and Stages

" Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. The weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but it's beginning to exchange the long, lean look for some baby fat. As baby does, the wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and it'll start to look more and more like a newborn. It's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture. "

I officially have had terrible heart burn at night for a few weeks now, and according to wives tales the more heart the more head of hair. So, should be interesting to see what this little doodlebug looks like when it is born!
